Malin Akerman is an actor and model who hails from Sweden. Born on May 12th 1978, in Stockholm. Her birthplace was in Ontario and grew up in the province. Akerman was famous in her character of Laurie Juliet/Silk Spectre I in Watchmen. She has also portrayed Lara Axelrod, the infamous television show Billions. The naked scenes she appeared in on Deplorability and Guardians are notable. Akerman started out as a fashion model and eventually moved to acting. Since then she has appeared in a variety of films and television shows. The most notable roles she has played are Silk Spectre II from the Watchmen film adaptation as well as Lara Axelrod from the TV show Billions. Akerman also releases music with The Petalstones.
